Dallas is a fucking joke!!!!! I don't know how they can justify keeping Romo for another year.. I mean this loss isn't on Phillips, Owens or anyone else, he holds the ball like he doesn't care and his post game comments were even worse.. I mean I guess if you're going home to Jessica Simpson every night nothing seems as bad as it is but he basically shrugged his shoulders at this loss. The fact that the so-called "experts" were calling him a top tier QB (Key word here being WERE) isn't his fault, but believing his own hype is all on him.

He is a backup QB at best.. I mean hell Matt Cassel is better than Romo.

The Cowboy's short term future looks like this.. They will fire Wade Phillips then promote Jason Garrett to keep him from leaving and dump all the Romo, T.O. drama on him. They simply have too much talent to be where they are......If you're a Cowboys fan it's time to wake up and realize that Romo must go!!!

As for the Super Bowl....I'm eyeing Titans or Ravens -vs- Panthers

As a Lions fan who knows absolutely nothing about what the playoffs are like, the Pats went 11-5 and didn't get in?! Are you serious? Can't stand the Pats but damn, that's not right. I think Cassell deserves a post-season appearance, anxious to see where he ends up next year. My Lions, uh, well, we've fired our coach and most of the staff, back to the drawing board, although we never seem to move away from it. Congrats to da Raidas' for ruining Tampa's season, hopefully my team will accomplish something in my lifetime. Miami? Don't think it'll happen, but let's see. Love football, hate my team.

I agree with you 100%!!! I just didn't want to say it first for the fear of it looking like sour grapes.. But truth be told none of the AFC West teams should be in this year, and Indy unfortunately is going to pummel the Chargers just as bad as they would've beaten down the Broncos!

But on a Patriots brightside..It's nice to see that Mayo got 49 out of 50 votes for Defensive Rookie of the Year, I thought he deserved it but lets face it deserving doesn't necessarily equal getting (See above mentioned playoff spot)

And dude, things are going to get better for the Lions (It can't get any worse!!) With the 1st overall pick and hopefully getting a decent head coach like say Shanahan who is not only a great coach but an incredible judge of talent for a GM would be a good start.

Indeed it's sad the way the AFC west turned out, i just wanted 8-8 i figured mid novemeber the Broncos would take the division, and an honorable mention T-Man for your Patriots, they deserved to be in the playoffs they did better than a lot of teams with all the shit the team went thru, like Brady on the 1st game, i do think the Chargers did stepped it up a notch, and always play good vs Indy i'm looking fwd to a closer game than most people think, and Thraxx really again the Raiderzz looked a lot better i hope next season they get in the battle for the division

Am gutted the Pats didnt make it as after the situation they have been put in this year to do as well as they did is great, no brady, n most the team suffering injuries, sadly miami have really turned it around since last year. Well done Chargers am shocked to see the Colts out, my prediction is for giants to win it again

I am one happy man !!! No Colts and now No Dolphins !!!

Lets go Ravens, Step on some Flaming Thumbtacks !!!

Beat the Titans !!!

2/3rds of the world is covered by water, the rest is covered by ED REED !!!!

Hey Flav, (and others) I am a man who can admit when he's wrong and that being said I am happy for the Chargers and their fans!! I thought there was a better chance of me nailing Jessica Alba than the Chargers beating the Colts..... So grats to you Charger fans!! Though this upcoming game is as bleak an outlook as you can get, I won't comment on the Steelers pummeling them till the game is over.

A small sidenote : Tomlinson is such a sissy bitch!! It was too cold for him to play against the Pats in the AFC Championship game a few years ago, and now despite running well and scoring he takes himself out of the game anticipating a loss.. They should shop him around in the off season and hold onto Sproles or he'll be the Turner of 2009,... He won't play the entire Steelers game and it will be his decision (Too cold will probably be the reason)

If The winner of the Titans/Ravens game ends up beating the Steelers in the AFC Championship that will be a HUGE plus to the NFC Champs seeing that the Steelers/Titans & Ravens are going to be in a three way ass stomping between them....Ought to be interesting.

We would love Shanahan, but I think he's too good for our team (we have no self-esteem anymore), don't think it'll happen. Hopefully we won't screw up the 1st pick, I want more than anything a franchise QB but I think we're gonna go defense all the way.

Thraxx man.... They beat the Colts, I would've bet my right arm that they wouldn't have..... I honestly think there is no chance of them beating the Steelers (And by no chance I am truly thinking shutout) BUT.... Outta respect for Flav who is always super cool with everyone I'll wait till game end to bash them..

Question for you though... I have heard nothing about the Raiders coaching situtation...Are they going with Cable? Is Fassel a possibility?? You must have heard something....What's the word out there in Oakland???

Flav, I appreciate the coolness......BUT, I ate enough crow after the last game that I feel it's in my best interest to wait until it is over..

That being said....I predict a Steelers win in a shutout.:)

Flavio.... is ok with me.... its da IronMaiden dude who is a total hater.....
But Pittsburg will win!!!!! San Diego again will be denied!

Hey Thraxx, what do Raider fans think about Rob Ryan? rumor has it he will be the new Browns DC next season.

Another Rebuilding year for the Raiders! AUUUGGGGHHHH!!!!

Cable meets with Davis, Ryan on the way out

New Browns coach Eric Mangini will request permission from the Raiders to hire Rob Ryan as his defensive coordinator Thursday, a league source told The Chronicle on Wednesday.
The Raiders are expected to let Ryan leave early -- his contract doesn't expire until Tuesday, which is why Mangini needs their permission to interview and hire him immediately. Last year, Ryan sought to join Mangini with the Jets but Raiders owner Al Davis blocked the lateral move because Ryan had one more year on his deal.
Meanwhile, interim head coach Tom Cable finally had his sitdown meeting with Davis on Wednesday, their first such meeting since the season ended Dec. 28.
Cable hopes to become the full-time head coach. No word on if Davis offered him the job or told him he wasn't going to be kept on. One team official who spoke with Cable said the coach felt good about the meeting, so he apparently wasn't fired.
Right now, Cable looks like the only coach trying to stay in Oakland.
Running backs coach Tom Rathman accepted the same job with the 49ers on Wednesday, a Raiders source confirmed. Offensive coordinator Greg Knapp also took the same position with the Seahawks, as expected.
Special teams coordinator Brian Schneider was in Jacksonville on Wednesday interviewing for a position there. He's scheduled to interview in Seattle later this week.
Linebackers coach Don Martindale will get a chance to join Ryan in Cleveland if he likes, but he's also considered a candidate for the defensive coordinator job here.
Defensive backs coach Darren Perry is also expected to leave, according to a source close to the second-year assistant.
Wide receivers coach James Lofton is the only coach under contract with the Raiders next season.
Also, former director of football operations Mark Jackson was named a senior athletic director at USC, where he worked with Lane Kiffin before coming to the Raiders in 2007. Jackson and the Raiders parted ways by mutual agreement last month.
