If I was a Japanese girl I'd think they were sooo sexy.

Is that racist? :erk:

:kickass: Enough said.

But if not:

"Drink beer! Listen Heavy Metal
You can get ecstasy and bullet belt" (Abigail)

Enough said now.

Anyway, on topic - wise words about HOATTC being the UK's greatest thrash export Matt - many would argue Dreamweaver, but I still prefer History. Similarly, I way prefer Power From Hell to The Force.

The Mighty Sabbat from the UK rule! :kickass: That goes without saying.
On the other hand , it is not the Japanese that can not rock example:
Ritual Carnage and thrash crazy freaks ...Kings~evil :flame: It is in fact bon jovi , posion and def lepard that can not rock!!

I actually got Dreamweaver album first which blew me away, then I heard trax - I For an Eye, Hosanna In Excelsis, Those Who Died on a compilation called Doomsday News 3 (filmed live in Germany just after they tore the wall down), there was also a video issued which coincidently, also ruled. Ahh many a night spent headbanging to those - The compilation also featured Tankard, Kreator and Coroner...

Sabbats first two albums are definitely worth buying because if you got the time to spare, the lyrics are some of the best and the artwork (on both) is wicked too.

I own all of their Cds History Of A Time To Come Dreamweavers and Mourning Has Broken all of which kill. I also have a full concert vhs of them playing in Berlin w/ Martian singing. Great stuff I only wish it would be reissued on DVD!

I had that video too! I got a thrash special (tm) vhs at the same time, for Christmas one year, along with a Candlemass/Dark Angel/D.A.M. triple bill vhs.

Good year, that one.

Yeah, I really also enjoyed the lyrics in Sabbat, which is hardly surprising given that Walkyier is an absolute wordsmith. His lyrics in Skyclad were also massively excellent - and his skills as a lyricist are unparalleled in metal, i.m.o.

Haven't got The Clan Destined stuff yet though - anyone else heard it? Sadly, the only MP3 available was the Julian Cope cover version...and I can do without Julian Cope in any way, shape or form.

Sabbat are amazing. I prefer Skyclad for some reason though, not sure why.

Hey Carcassian are you sure it wasn't D.A.D. j/k (too much wine!)
Seriously, they were great times and the music had so much to offer.

I was never able to appreciate Skyclad, i heard it but just wasnt thrashing enough for my ears at the time.
