I think that for a single mother who was just skimming by on Social Welfare, she did a pretty good job. (In fact the only reason she wrote the first book was because she had nothing better to do with her time). She'd sit in a café (baby at her side) each day, and write stuff.
I quite liked it, I thought it was well done and on the whole didn't misrepresent anything. I don't have time to read fiction books, so I'm glad they made it into a movie. I understand there's a second movie coming soon and I'll be going to see that one too. There's a lot of very uptight people who say that Harry Potter is not good for children and all that but I just consider the source of such opinions and let my child decide for himself if it's appropriate or not.

no, seriously, i don't think she sat down and thought: "now this is what i'm gonna do...", but i think it might occur that you mix up things happening around you with the purest product of fiction, it's not very deep or clever, just a way of relating entertainment with what you feel...
