Oh, that's another thing that's quite interesting - apparently Jonas played drums on a lot of the heavier albums, and only sung when clean vocals were needed - he did drums on Sounds Of Decay, for example, with the Opeth singer doing the vocals again - that's also the first album without this "BLACKHEIM" person - who the hell was that? And Lord Seth???

And why did "MIKAEL ORETOFT" play bass on Saw You Drown/Discouraged Ones, and not on Tonights Decision?

Katatonia's lineup over the years is well fucked up...

Dunno about the rest but in a recent interview in Terrorizer it says that Jonas used to be known as Lord Seth.

I am very irritated. I typed out a big reply, and then lost it by some stupid board error. Here's a brief summary.
Lord Seth = Jonas
Blackheim = Anders.
Both of them were the only members on Jhva Elohim Meth, and day Disyhrah did session keyboard work.
Dance of December Souls - Anders on guitars, Jonas on vox/drums, Israphel Wing... on bass.
For Funerals to Come - same as DoDS.
Brave Murder Day - Mike Akerfeldt on vox, Jonas did drums and clean vox, and Anders and Fred Norrman on guitar. Bass by Anders.
Sounds of Decay as BMD.
Discouraged Ones - Jonas on clean vox and some guitars, also some bass (uncredited). Anders did guitars, keyboards and backing vox, and also some bass (uncredited). Fred Norrman guitars. Micke Oretoft bass (he was kicked out after this, it has been discussed here before and it was decided it should be left alone....)
Saw You Drown is the same as Discouraged Ones.
Tonight's Decision - Jonas did vocals. Anders did guitars and keyboards, plus backing vocals. Fred did guitars and bass, and Dan Swano did session drums.
And the last 2 albums and EPs are all the same.

I think it's sad that some people on this post think that just because they've found Katatonia in the early days that they can dismiss people that have found them since.

Surely the important fact is that they love them now and are interested in finding out more about them.

People should be more encouraging not dismissive and piss taking!!
