Love the Riverside disc....too bad it would be so difficult. It'd be interesting to hear what they sound like live.

And Saga is one of my all time fave pop-prog bands...at least the early stuff was cool...

Just heard a song from the upcoming Riverside album, the 11-minute plus Dance With The Shadow...heavier and arguably more progressive than anything on the first one, and brilliant. If I had unlimited sponsorship powers, these guys would be there. Along with Dead Soul Tribe and Sieges Even, who coincidentally also both have new releases this fall...

To further expound upon the problems with Poland, you have to show proof of either marriage, long-time steady job, etc. In other words, the goverment wants you to show that you have ties to Poland that would make it very difficult for you to defect while you are in the States (as the Polish rate is very high). A few members of Riverside simply could not meet those requirements.

Don't get me wrong as they could do it eventually. It's just a very long and expensive process and not worth it for either them or me.
