Ol Sonuf, an atmospheric blend of Doom, Death, Black, Power, Neoclassical, Industrial, and Progressive Metal with elements of electronic music and purely classical music, is now seeking a male lead vocalist and a skilled violinist to record on the current concept album, in progress, entitled While Rome Burns. Lyrical topic of concept album is about The Year of the Four Emperors, focusing heavily on the rise and fall of Emperor Nero.
VOCALIST:
Looking for vocals in the style of Dio, Matt Barlow (ex-Iced Earth), or Kelly Carpenter (Outworld), but open to any singer with a melodic and powerful voice. Ol Sonuf wants to remain original, rather than "sound like such-and-such band."
VIOLINIST:
Looking for violinist capable of playing arpeggios fast and cleanly, for parts that are already written (specifically, the song When Reason Yields; the synth violin part in the beginning), and also with opportunities for writing.
