As for Dio, Craig Goldy is back in the fold, Doug Aldrich has chosen to stick with Whitesnake.

I never cared for Goldy.... but I would rather see Ronnie with Viv than even Aldrich. It is ashamed Viv's heart wasn't in it. He was a bad-ass.

Anyway.... I am serious about talking to Damon. Don't get shy on me. He'll want to be your best friend if you mention you know something about Alabama, even if it is only a net friend. This is my Brother, Damon (middle) and your's truly.

As for Goldy he will never be Dio's best axeman in the studio, far from that, but as a live performer he always gets the job done and does justice to all the classics. I guess that's why Dio often calls him back when he needs a guitar player.
Of course, I wouldn't complain if Aldrich decided to give it another shot, the guy is so talented...
