Isn't it great that for the price of a new cd you can go home with 10 or 15 records from a used shop. Picked up a bunch of 80's stuff last week for $1 each, stuff that I would never buy on cd because of the price.

I found Blind Illusion's Sane Asylum for $15
Death Angel's Frolic Through the Park for $7.99

Iron Maiden's The Number of the Beast
Black Sabbath's Sabotage
2 of Thin Lizzy's Bad Reputation
2 of Thin Lizzy's Johnny the Fox
Thin Lizzy's Jailbreak
Thin Lizzy's Thunder and Lighting
Led Zeppelin's Led Zeppelin
2 of Led Zeppelin's Led Zeppelin II
3 of Led Zeppelin's Led Zeppelin IV
Led Zeppelin's House of the Holy
Led Zeppelin's Physical Graffiti
2 of Cream's Disraeli Gears
and about 50 more albums free.

A couple of weeks ago:
Savatage - Hall Of The Mountain King (about 10e)

Also, last summer I got Armored Saint's Delirious Nomad and Raising Fear for about 4e each. The covers weren't exactly in mint condition but the records themselves were just fine. And even better musically. :headbang:

You were at the Eindhoven show????? Lucky bastard. Sadly I was about 18 months old at the time so I couldn't go myself.....

Metalmaster 14 seems to have found some great stuff too. There's a couple of decent old vinyl shops around London and Reading, but bizarrely the cheapest and best ones I've bought came from several dusty old antique shops in the Lake District!

I also collect old prog rock vinyls too. They're usually more expensive though - £10 for The Faust Tapes, £12 for a non-original In The Court Of The Crimson King, £7 for Burnt Weeny Sandwich (Mothers of Invention) etc.

Yeah, sometimes is good to live in a country where the metal jewels are not so valued and expensive.... sadly, most of the lps and cds I have are imports and thus, are much more expensive that the ones made in Mexico,,

Thats a weak excuse! Seriously though, I was part of the organisation of the festival. It was, I believe, the second Dynamo Open Air festival. I bought the Legacy demo with Zetro still on the vocals just before the festival.
During the Testament gig it started raining like hell! You can see that on the pictures of the "Live at Eindhoven" EP. One of the best gig I've seen ever!
The guy's from Testament were very cool. They stayed 4 or 5 day's in Eindhoven and went out drinking at the Stratums end with us.
