Isn't it great that for the price of a new cd you can go home with 10 or 15 records from a used shop. Picked up a bunch of 80's stuff last week for $1 each, stuff that I would never buy on cd because of the price.

Also, last summer I got Armored Saint's Delirious Nomad and Raising Fear for about 4e each. The covers weren't exactly in mint condition but the records themselves were just fine. And even better musically.

Metalmaster 14 seems to have found some great stuff too. There's a couple of decent old vinyl shops around London and Reading, but bizarrely the cheapest and best ones I've bought came from several dusty old antique shops in the Lake District!

I also collect old prog rock vinyls too. They're usually more expensive though - £10 for The Faust Tapes, £12 for a non-original In The Court Of The Crimson King, £7 for Burnt Weeny Sandwich (Mothers of Invention) etc.

Thats a weak excuse! Seriously though, I was part of the organisation of the festival. It was, I believe, the second Dynamo Open Air festival. I bought the Legacy demo with Zetro still on the vocals just before the festival.
During the Testament gig it started raining like hell! You can see that on the pictures of the "Live at Eindhoven" EP. One of the best gig I've seen ever!
The guy's from Testament were very cool. They stayed 4 or 5 day's in Eindhoven and went out drinking at the Stratums end with us.
