If you have been meaning to get to something "once in a blue moon", time's up. Tomorrow, May 31st, is the blue moon [the second full moon in one month]. May 2nd was the first full moon. No more excuses! :kickass:

Intersting that such things occur at all, seeing as how a "month" was originally the time period from new moon to new moon. For some interesting theories on why the calendar isn't "natural" anymore, check out Immanuel Velikovsky's work, if you're not already familiar with it.

As far as astro-weather goes, according to my estimates, when the sun is opposite the moon tomorrow, it seems your natal sun will be opposite Uranus!!:Smug: :Smug: :Smug: :Smug:

Okay, so it's a cheesy, overused joke. But such is really the case as near as I can place your natal sun, though I don't know your star chart, and can only approximate your natal sun postion from your birthday as listed on your profile. Now I could check your chart for any nteresting coincidences between your natal chart and the flash chart at the blue moon tomorrow. But then you would have to reveal your time of birth and would have to reveal... dahnt dahnt dahhh, your age!!!! I relaize women hate revealing their age, but we of the masculine persuasion will never understand why beautiful women have such a hard time saying how old they are.

Also, (more serious this time), did you check the astro-chart for the blue moon tomorrow, and notice that the sun and moon create a T-square with the moon's north node. So we have a full moon (and all that goes with it) with the north node (where you tend to find treasures on life's path) at a square ("bad" angle) to both moon (emotions and natural tendencies) and sun (development, growth, maturation, and destiny). Hmmm... not a good portent.

No wish that I know of (but wouldn't surprise me if some people out there did do that). Linda stated the literal meaning of it (the second full moon in the same month is the blue moon). Two moons in the same month don't occur very often. Here in the states (I don't know about other countries) the expression "Once in a blue moon" is sometimes used in slang talk to express other things that don't occur very often. Why it's called blue (as opposed to second moon)? No idea.

A blue moon! That is why my video editing software decided to work tonight. :zombie: :erk:

Lay you odds it won't after the blue moon.
