One of the latest work I did (Rock with some Hardcore and Metal influences)

I'm totally digging vocalists at the moment too.
Did a 6 track EP for a band who used to have a screamer, but recently changed to a singer..

Good work dude.. I like the arrangement of the tracks!

Sounds pretty awesome. Great job.
I'm really digging the vocalist.

He is a great vocalist, his only problem is that I had to be constantly telling him to sing lower :D, all his melodies tended to be always at very high registers. Contrast was needed.

Cool music + production! and thumb up for a post with a real singer!

Thanks. It feels great to work with real singers :D
This band has 2 vocalists, the main one that screams and does backing vocals and the other one that is the guitar player who does most of the singing parts.

Muito bom mesmo.
Obrigado

Good stuff, dude! That radio single is pretty well written and catchy.

The pre-production and production had an essential influence on the final result. We worked a lot on all songs.
I can say that most of the original songs are almost unrecognizable against the final versions.

Come on Eddy...
You can't post this without pics, signal chain...etc.
Production aspect...etc.

I don't have much pics of it but I could almost write a book about this album :D
Let me know what you would like to know

As I said above there was a lot of work involved to get the songs to the point of the final version, arrangements included.
Nice songs you have there too.

sounds sick eddy!!!

Thanks :)

Finally have time so let's start:

Recording:
Witch drum kit was used? Mics and preamp?
Bass is a di and amp combinaison i suppose so what bass/amp/cab/mic/pre/comp was used?

Mixing:
Any para drum compresion (fatso or anything else)?
How much hardware involted?
Space wise did you used more verb or more delay?
Any 2bus compression involted?

And a tricky one: do you think you can achieve same mix totally itb? :)

I used my Sonor Designer kit with 2 snares (Tama Bell Brass and Ayotte Keplinger)
If I remember correctly the mics were: U87s, KM184s, 421s, 57s, 414s R121s, D6, Subkick
Preamps: API, Neve, Chandler, Crane Song, Tube Tech, Manley
Bass is a DI + (shame on me because didn't had time to reamp, long story...) IK SVX + Sansamp plugin + CLA Bass. Can't remember which comp I used on bass, possibly Distressor and 1176.

A lot of individual Drum compression, parallel compression, bus compression, Room compression
Bus was Neve 33609, Parallel was ADR Compex.
A lot of hardware was involved. Possibly +30 rack processors, It was a nightmare
Used a lot of delays and reverbs. PCM42s, Roland SDE3000, Bricasti, TC6000, PCM70, Sony DRE777, SPX2000 + plugins
I had 2 Bus compression, if not mistaken SSL 384.
Due to time constraint I also had to mix it to "Mastering processing" so there was EQ and even more compression on the 2 Bus.

I don't think that I could get the same ITB but wouldn't be night and day. :p
I also used a lot of plugins.
