I've checked out The End Records site... and that buymetal.net or whatever... Do any of you have a favourite place online you go to purchase obscure prog metal...

are you sure? when i think about lakeland, black metal music is playing in my head. it's a very kvlt town

Lol. Well if you've ever seen Lake Mirror, I do think the gate would make a neat cover for an album.

hmm i bought my computer at the lakeland best buy. is that near the lake? really "lakeland" doesn't seem like an appropriate name for the place at all

Its an oxymoron if anything.

Why isn't Oxymoron more like what it is representing?
I mean shouldn't it be Intellimoron or Oxydirt?

Ah. That's on the north side of town, which I know my way around there but I'm not as familiar with it as the other parts. There are quite a few lakes in Lakeland but I think Winter Haven has more (which is fucked up.) Best Buy is wonderful, though. It seems they usually keep at least one copy of Orchid in stock. But next time (if ever) you're in Lakeland, stop by Evolution records. They have a decent selection in CD's.

yeah, but CDs cost money, which goes against my beliefs that music should be free :Spin:

Ya, after you realize you'll never be able to make any music people would ever actually buy as such, you do tend to think free music is the way to go.

:Smug:

i just ordered a bunch of shit from the end records for the first time. they have a nice website that's neatly organized by genre. i have yet to receive the CDs but their service seems quick and responsive. the fact that they advertise here made me purchase from them. keep it in the community i say.

@Brian: hahaha! hot topic. good one that!

Yeah I order from The End pretty frenquently and they have good service. No tax, no duty, low shipping and cheap prices. If you live in the US then shipping is free and fast. I live in Canada and shipping's cheap, but it takes 3 weeks for my order to come in.
