Will Of the Ancients (Killer melodic blackened metal. Great music to drink & head bang to. )
Diablo Red (Southern style stoner metal ala corrosion of conformity))
Excrutiating Thoughts (Some intense and well played death metal. These guys could give Deamon a run for their money )
Woods Of Ypres (Some great melodic black metal)
Bendecos (Some old dudes who play a eclectic mix of rock, thrash and punk)
Electric Magma (Total Stoner Rock with a heavy bottom end and great groove)

Just a few of my favourites off the top of my head. It's crazy and sometimes disapointing to see how untapped the local Ontario scene is currently. So much talent just waiting for some semi big metal/rock labels to take a chance.
