Opeth fans in Georgia?

To Meta - I'm close enough - South Carolina. It's hard to find people around here with our musical interest. I'll be going to the Charlotte, NC show next week. I was able to bribe a friend into going, and i bought his ticket. I really wouldn't care though if I were going alone.

I finally got my deliverance double picture disc from the end records on sat. I'm going to bring it and try to get the band to sign it. !!

I'm not from South Georgia, but I am from Northeast Georgia. Yes, I understand how you feel about the country music. But yes there is another Georgia fan and it's me and I believe that one or two others exist on here too. See-ya.

Move to Atlanta dude! There is a fairly decent underground scene here for death/black metal. There are always shows at the Masquerade too. Before I moved to Atlanta though, I spent a lot of time in Middle Georgia, the Macon area, and believe me, I can feel your pain. Not one decent record store in the entire area. In general, if you want to buy cds, the best place to do that is online, because you're certainly not going to find Opeth in the local Wal-Mart. ;) I mention Wal-Mart, because outside of Atlanta, that's where most Georgian's do ALL of their shopping! :D

Haha, sad but true. Bookstores are rare in the Northeast aswell, I have to leave the state to get a book. (I go to South Carolina's "Books-A-Million")
