Hola all,

I'm new here, obviously. As noted in the header to this thread, the most recent copy of Revolver music mag features a cool albeit brief article/interview re: everyone's favorite band. I read it standing up in a nearby grocery store. Not sure yet whether I'll buy it or simply stuff the three or four pages into my pants the next time I go Krogering. Anyway, seek it out -- cool stuff.

If someone else has already announced this here, forgive me. I only checked back two pages' worth of Board History ( I was so engrossed in the various discussions that my eyes began hurting, heh heh ).

Enjoy!

I have it...Its ok, that pic of them is on my wall now. The MuchMusic girl that is featured in that issue, goes to my school. Shes a prude, and doesnt talk to any of the 5 metalheads that are in my college including myself...I think she thinks shes too good for us smelly, loud, obnoxious death metalheads

Revolver is a cool magazine so I checked out their site after reading this thread. Now I may be late in noticing this, but what the bloody hell is Mudvayne doing now?! I am getting sick of bands equating image with music. Sad I know. They aren't too bad. Are they aliens now? They are one step closer up the evolution ladder now. Sheer genius I'm telling you.

The new album's Okay. The image stuff is getting pretty retarded, but I think they trying to cover it by saying not to take them seriously about the image stuff.

Whatever. The music's okay. Haven't really gotten into it yet.

Revolver rules. They should start publishing monthly. They always have nice things to say about Opeth. I saw a jewel case copy of Deliverance (which was really surprising since I live in a very small Podunk Air Force Town in Mississppi) at FYE at the sad excuse of a mall they have here, and the sticker on it said "60 minutes of awesome music by Opeth...." wait, now I can't remember what it said...

Anyway, underneath the quote, it had Guitar World and Revolver under as the mags quoted, so I'm glad Opeth are getting some kind exposure from these well read mags.

Yeah, the jewel case has two stickers, "Metal's most brilliant band" by some guy from Revolver, and "60 Minutes of new Opeth." Actually it might be one sticker. Whatever.

Hey where abouts in Georgia are ya? I'm in statesboro.

If you're in the Augusta area by chance, our band is playing at Red Lion Pub on Sat. 23rd. We're Lyka Champ (I didn't come up with the name). We're not quite metal, but plenty heavy. ;)

Stop by and say hi.

Tragically, I live in Conyers. Augusta is a bit too far for my drunk-driving self ( not to mention the fact that my car's brakes went out on me today, thus it is sitting in Decatur at my shrink's office, and will be till I figure out what the fuck I'm gonna do about it ). Does your band have a site/mp3s? I'm always up for new music.

And yes, I would do naughty and illicit things to Juliya C.
