Starting low means less of a placement fee through Ebay, and I've found that starting low gets more people bidding. Some weird psychology thing where someone is more likely to bid up past $5 than go for something starting at $5. *shrug*

I bid on a BWP poster but I think the guy had a "friend" driving up the price so I said fuck it. Then like 6 hours after the auction closes I get a second chance email saying the original buyer didn't meet the payment criteria and if I wanted it I could bid on it...people suck sometimes
