I tried to remain neutral, I thanked you for sharing the DVD via bittorrent, I didn't get involved in any of your pissing matches. But when you slag a taper (actually you slagged on every Opeth taper in your post above) who taped and shared a recording of a band we like, you come across as such a whiney, unworthy little bitch that I couldn't bit my tongue anymore. 3: Yes, I know what it is. For the three hundredth, millionth, bagillionth time. Mp3 = lossy. Flac,shn,ape = lossless. I get. We all get it. I wasn't disputing that. (You can't really dispute it, can you?) My question simply was: Why is it that people that make such a great big deal about these sorts of programs use them on amateur, shitty recordings?

Apparently, asking for moderation around here does not equal removing unecessary threads but does equal totalitarian censorship and also means that I am scared of somebody? How does this work? What do I have to be scared of? Obviously, I have enough time on my hands to make these longwinded explanations of everything, so why would I want that removed? And why does this mean I'm scared of Marky Mark? The "Moderation" thread was not made in response to Marky Mark's rambling about preservation of quality, but was made in response to all the crappy threads that are on the front pages (ie ggggggu's newbie threads, Mikeal is a fat guinea pig thread, dream theatre setlist thread, the multple threads about one particular show, the list goes on...and on...and on...and on...) By wanting this kind of crap to be slowly pruned off, that means I am a big "man?" A king, even? Scared of someone I have never met before?
