Yes, i have tried to do a mix to a coversong wich me and my band recorded here in my home...i use cubase 5 and wavelab 6 to mix the song.
I would love you to tell me what i can improve to do to make it sounds in a better way...i like it now but when i compare it to a example here ( http://www.inzight.be/mickes/roll.mp3 ) its far away. I love Accept and how the sound they have is done...the fat metal hardrock is exactly what i want.
I have (amplitude 2 for my guitars amplitude for the bass "software") (for the drums i use superior 2.2 and there is played by a roland td12 kit) and i know it would be better to use real amplifiers as marshalls , mesa, or peavey but i have just a small room right now so i use this. But if you listen to my coversong together with the band (http://www.inzight.be/mickes/kick.mp3 ) mybe you can tell me small tips on what to make me come as close to the mix of Accept as the first link i made here.
I also know it maybe not possible to come as close to a professional recorded band...but anyway...i dont give up...tell me what i can improve
