Thorns: Hummm.. could be, but......... I think that might not have been his guitar. I remember during their long tour (ie-when they played in FL) that a lot of nights they borrowed other guitars for Demon so they didn't have to change the tunings all the time.
That mighta been Nevermore's or the opening band (I'm drawing a blank on their name, derrr). Actually I think Jeff had a green ESP so it was probably his.
