Oppressive is a Finnish metal band, founded by couple of young guys in 2010. The musical style is mostly thrash metal, but with strong influences from death metal and some melodies. The songs are based to riffs, not the melodies, which are there just to bring some shades to the music.
Finally we got the new "Through the Wastelands" -demo relased, check it out!
As the band members are still quite young, from 18 to 20, we have started playing in bars and pubs not earlier than this year. Earlier we have played mostly in youth houses etc. When playing alive, we are as energetic as possible, and we have got lots of positive feedback from our shows.
