Optical mice make way too much noise!

My guitar pickups seem to amplify the noise, so I'm thinking of going back to my old ball mouse. Or...has anyone used laser mice?

I've never had a problem with my Logitech MX510 optical. *shrug*

No, laser is a fairly new gimmick, and it's supposed to be a lot more accurate.

I use a Kensington trackball instead.
