Orange Goblin US Tour!!!!!!!!

Zod, if you do get to see them you won't be disappointed. They were amazing at MDF; every bit as energetic and tight as I hoped they'd be. There are some good videos of Ben Ward singing right into the faces of all of us on the rail.

And they couldn't be nicer. I yelled at one of them to sign my CDs for me, and he personally walked it over to the rest of the band for their signatures as well. Then Ben came over and chatted with me a bit. That meant everything to me, since it was such a hectic festival and I was in total fanboy mode.

I have nothing to add to this relating to Orange Goblin directly.
I did recently discover though that in Chicago there is CLUTCH tribute band.......

And people thought a Savatage tribute was a hard sell..................

I'm actually going to the Phoenix show, but I'm there to see Clutch. I've never heard Orange Goblin, but have heard/read good things about them. I'll be sure to get there in time to see them.

Wow, really? Why the heck would anyone want to be in a tribute band to a currently active band?
I dont get that at all.

Sure, Maiden, PRiest, Metallica, etc. That's a different story.

OG did a headlining tour in 2011 around their MDF date. I don't know how extensive it was or how the turnouts were, but I know they did a show here with The Gates of Slumber opening.
