Orange Rockerverb

I'm going to get a new amp head and before I decide which amp to buy I want to do a little shootout in my own studio. I want to try a Peavey 6505 and an Orange Rockerverb. As I can only afford to make a shootout between 2 amps I need a little advice if I should order the rockerverb 50 or the rockerverb 100 for my test. The amp will mainly be used for high gain sounds in the studio.
So do you think the Rockerverb 100 is a better choice for high gain sounds?

I would expect the 100 to have more headroom and possibly a bigger & tighter low end compared to the 50. That's the experience I had with my Marshall DSL100/50 anyway.
