This was released last year, but a search on the forum turned up squat. I believe they recently signed a world wide deal with Nuclear Blast.

Thanks to Ken for the heads up.

Glad to have discovered these guys a couple of months ago - love the album. I'll have to check out that EP. They put on a great show this past weekend at Roadburn. The venue (across the street from main venue 013) was a converted church, complete with stained glass windows, arched ceiling, and wooden beams. Very cool place to see Orchid tear it up!

Awesome. I'd love to get overseas to see Roadburn. How was the overall experience?

modernwizardry - Roadburn was fantastic! Really impressed with the venues, sound mix and organization. Four different stages, ranging from 150 capacity Batcave to the approx 2500 capacity main stage (similar in size to the Riviera Theater, for the Chicago folks). Very laid-back vibe (as you may imagine), and everyone I met was very friendly. Had a blast catching up with some European friends, and tried to keep my wallet in my pocket, which was difficult with all of the cool vinyl and merch! Picked up an Agalloch shirt, a special shirt Voivod made for the event, and a limited edition vinyl of Voivod at Roadburn 2011.

Didn't see a bad performance all weekend. Agalloch, Hammers of Misfortune (my friend Morgan had never heard them and was completely won over by their show), Voivod, and Orchid were the highlights of the first day. Nachtmystium put on a strong show on day two, along with Witch, Electric Moon, and Voivod doing Dimension Hatross in its entirety. Would have liked to have seen Barn Owl, but hard to catch everything! After seeing The Obsessed, Sleep, and Bongripper on the final day, I felt like a tank had rolled over me! Great fun! Would definitely recommend this festival.

I was just listening to Orchid and wondered why I never saw them on this board. So a search pulled this thread up! Of course Glenn would be the one to start an Orchid thread!
I picked the full length up at ProgPower around this time in 2012. In 2013 I picked up both EP's & Mouths of Madness at the same den of inequities (vendor room), and last year I picked up "The Zodiac Sessions" which is basically a re-release of the debut full length with "Through The Devils Doorway" EP added at the end (same recording sessions, I'm guessing).
Orchid is probably my favorite sludgy stoner doom metal band, followed closely by Abbra Kadaver, also on Nuclear Blast. I wonder how well something like this would go over at ProgPower? I know I'd dig it!

It's just Kadavar.

Graveyard and Witchcraft are my faves.

San Francisco-based classic doom metallers Orchid have released a lyric video for “Sign Of The Witch”, the title track of the band’s new EP, to be released July 17 via Nuclear Blast Records. Sign Of The Witch will contain four brand new tracks and will exclusively be available at the Nuclear Blast shop.

Yeah, a little late responding here.
I meant Abra Kadaver the disc. I was aware that they're called Kadaver lol

I'm also fond of Witchcraft on a "sometimes" situation. There are days when they are just what I needed, but then there are those days when the singer just pisses me off because his voice is irritating me and I can't listen for long. I spun "Nucleus" yesterday and made it through Maelstroem before I realized I wasn't in the mood for the vocals, so I went with Elder instead.
