Original band members

Led Zeppelin didn't have a line-up change; I'm pretty sure they didn't release any new material after John Bonham's death ...

Also Silverchair haven't had a change, although I guess they haven't been around that long (Frogstomp came out in 1995 if I recall correctly).

I'm sure Spiffo's asking about bands that are still together, so Zep don't count. Plus, they did play a few shows with Tony Franklin, Phil Collins and Jason Bonham on drums after they split (and reunions "don't count" apparently). silverchair formed in 1992, so they've been around for a while.

I don't really know anything about Aerosmith's lineup history, but have they had a change at all? Probably.

Hmmm Supergrass might have been constant, apart from the addition of the keyboard dude.

I don't know about Supergrass, but Aerosmith were without Perry and Whitford for a few years at the start of the 80s. They both rejoined later though, and they've had the original recording line-up since 1984.

Ace Of Base 92 to present
Garbage - 94 to present
Live - 88 to present
Deftones - 88 to present. although they added a dude.

And Silverchair, even though they took a little break - they never actually broke up (as far as I know), and therefore still fit in the rules I made up for this thread. :)

That band Dungeon never had any lineup changes did they? ;)
On that note, we're on our 4th different lineup since the EP in 2004 and only have 2 more albums since that. Though the current lineup has been the same for 2 years now.

How about Aerosmith? I'm not too sure, I think they might have had a couple of temporary changes in the late 70s/early 80s or something but other than that they've pretty much been original the rest of the time havent they?

Nah, Dungeon never had any lineup changes at all! There was absolutely no behind the scene tension between members at all and everything ran entirely smoothly over the course of 16 years! Don't let anyone tell you any differently! :D

;)

HAHA!

Jimmy Crespo joined Aerosmith partway through the recording of A Night In The Ruts (1979), replacing Joe Perry. Rick Dufay played on Rock In A Hard Place (1982) after Brad Whitford quit. That's a criminally underrated album, BTW. Like a lot of KISS stuff from the same period, people overlook it just because of the different lineup.

Powderfinger changed drummers, no? (although I think the first drummer left before their first EP, so probably not)

What about Counting Crows?

Yeah, I go by albums. A band could have any number of line-up changes that we don't even know about. From the first album to present is what's important!

I like how you treat my rules with a small amount of contempt yet are still civil about them, Bri-Bri. :)
