So I was adjusting the intonation on my G string (I play in Drop C)
and the screw literally snapped in half.
So now half of the screw is sitting in the little hole in my bridge and I can't get it out.
How can I get the rest of the screw out of the hole and where could I buy a replacement?
I definitely don't have the money to buy a whole new bridge at the moment so I'm willing to try anything to get the damn screw out.
hahaha

Ok
I just found a place to order parts and ordered another screw
so now my issue us getting the remaining half of the screw out of the bridge.
:/

I would do the following in this order:
remove and isolate the trem.
Support the baseplate.
TRy carefully tapping a hard small screw driver into the top of the broken off screw. If you can cut into the top of the screw it may be enough to turn it out.
Failing that drill out as much of the screw as possible then push screwdriver/allen key into the drilled out hole to get purchase on it.
Failing that buy a re-threading kit or take it to a machinist

Thanks for the response
I'll definitely try that and get back to you on how it goes

How would I go about removing and isolating the bridge?

loosen the strings. or remove them
take the rear cavity off (if not already off)
detach all springs
lift the trem unit out of the body away from the trem posts
hold the trem in a block/vice of some sort so it is supported and steady

let us know how you get on

You may try soaking it in som PB blaster or something smilar. Its great for loosening stubborn bolts....it may help a little.
