Not sure if this has been posted:

Press Release / Legendary Orange County, CA metal stalwarts Leatherwolf have posted a re-worked version of Behind The Gun, featuring returning original vocalist Michael Olivieri, on their MySpace page at www.myspace.com/leatherwolfmusic.
States the band: "We just got "Behind The Gun" from Jacob Hansen (Rob Rock, Volbeat, Communic) who is re-mixing the whole World Asylum album over in Denmark and we wanted to give everyone a taste of what's in store. Mikey is singing his ass off on this one and has never sounded better - he has really stepped up to the plate and delivered what is one of his best vocal performances ever! And Jacob is once again doing a great job mixing - we cannot wait to hear the rest of the tracks and get this album out!"
The re-worked version of World Asylum with Michael Olivieri on lead vocals, tentatively titled New World Asylum, is due out later this summer on the band's own NIL8 Records label.
The classic Leatherwolf line-up, featuring Olivieri, drummer Dean Roberts, and guitarists Geoff Gayer and Carey Howe, will make their first live appearance with bassist Pete Perez (Riot, Spastic Ink) Friday, August 31 at the Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana, CA opening up for LA GUNS. The band are also slated to co-headline the sold out ninth edition of Germany's Keep It True festival, scheduled for November 3 at the Sporthalle in Dittigheim.

Good deal :headbang:

I heard the new version of "Behind the Gun" with Michael...while I like the first two Leatherwolf albums, I think Wade sounds better on "Behind The Gun". Wade has a wicked voice that is hard to math as far as intensity goes.

And J-Dubya 777..."Green grass and high tides forever"

What's up with all this disrespect to Wade? First Crimson Glory plan to re-record Astronomica (not sure if Midnight was around long enough to complete it) and now Leatherwolf have re-recorded World Asylum? Jeeezzzzzzz

Then they should write some NEW material and not re-record previously released music:headbang:

Exactly.

An album is a snapshot of a moment in time and should be left as it was originally recorded, IMO. Maiden certainly didn't feel the need to re-record X Factor or Virtual XI when Bruce returned... they got busy and recorded NEW music rather than rehashing the old.

These bands should do whatever they wanna do. It's their band, and their creativity. Let 'em have some fun with the material. After all, it's their label, their ass on the line. Let 'em succeed or fail on their own terms.

Exactly. Again, l don't think it's disrespect. As a matter of fact, wasn't it reported that Wade was back in CG? If so, that would be a sign of respect.

Yep, have to agree here. Dude, it's the original lineup (minus the bassist),
rejoice!!!
