In having a discussion with a friend... the topic of a "classic" song came up.

You know, something you can listen to time and time again that still rips ass years later... so, anyways, was wondering what some of those songs are for you guys.

Just 5 songs that are classic to you.

Mine, in no order, off the top of my head:

Megadeth: Ashes in Your Mouth
Metallica: Sanitarium
The Eagles: Hotel California
Iron Maiden: Hallowed Be Thy Name
Queensryche: Suite Sister Mary

HM: GNR - November Rain

1: The Eagles - Hotel California
2: The Haunted - Hate Song
3: Steve Vai - Hand On Heart/For The Love of God
4: Stevie Ray Vaughan - Little Wing
5: Metallica - Battery

Yep.

Jonnyh Cash - Gostriders in the sky
Lamb of god - 11th hour.

Hard to pick just five... I'll probably change my mind just as I post this.

Oh crap is this hard. Since we're going classic, I'm sticking to old school.
In no particular order...I don't know...

Tough to pick just 5....just like my best 3 produced albums of all time thread...but,

DIO: We Rock
Ozzy: Revelation Mother Earth
Maiden: Hallowed be thy name
Steve Vai: Attitude Song
Pantera: Living Through Me (Hell's Wrath)

Anacrusis - Grateful
Ozzy - Diary of a Madman

Wargasm - Revenge
Wrathchild America - Surrounded By Idiots

Im not defining classic, because I said "classic to you", like, what YOU think is a classic song... to your own agendas... that's it.

I just went with 5 as a measuring stick... there's no "rules" or anything.

BTW, some good lists... some songs I've never heard before... might have to fire up the limewire... because yes, Im NOT gonna buy an album from a band Ive never heard before to check out one song.
