Damn I could never drink as much as I do in Australia. $30 bucks for a 30 pack? I get either special Export or Miller High Life 30 packs for $10.99 - $11.99 up the street, albeit American beer is basically water. What kind of beer are you buying over there?

What's weird around my neck of the woods now a days is that Grocery stores are no longer have cheaper prices for beer, so I'm better off buying it colder around the corner at my choice of the beer market or the liquor store. We call them #1 and #2. I buy 12 packs of Bud longnecks for $8.99 and $12.99 for those 20 packs(I don't like to call them cases). When grocery stores have good sells I pick up what I can. I like imported beer but it's gets expensive. Back in college a used to pay $7.99 a sixer for Zurich Lowenbrau from Switzerland. The closest I get to good imports lately is Michelob Amber Bock.

i think its all to do with equasion of your dollar to ours, like cds here are around 20 to 30 bucks and over there there about 10 bucks,as for most american beer tasting like water i would have to agree lol,the beer i bought is just the standard stuff not premium.

u would freak if i told u how much petrol was here!!!
