So I'm driving this morning to get a chest x-ray taken because I can't shake this bronchitis. It's rained for three days straight, streets are flooded, houses are falling off hills, people are in a panic. It was drizzling just a bit this morning after days of downpours. So I look off to the side of the 73 freeway and guess what I see?

The fucking sprinklers are on!!! Yes, the sprinklers were on!!! Unreal.

In unrelated news, someone from San Jose, CA won a snowblower on "The Price Is Right."

Back to the couch. Naptime.

And another thing...my doctor prescribed a medication called Avelox. One pill a day for seven days. Guess how much it cost me? FORTY-FIVE FUCKING DOLLARS!!! For that much those pills should cure my hair loss and make me impervious to illness for the rest of the year! If I didn't have insurance it would have been $90. I need to get into the drug business.

As far as a snow blower in San Jose, with Bush in office, Armegeddon is on it's way. So, a snow blower may come in handy before we know it!

Hey! Have you ever thried that "Airborne" stuff? It's great to take on the onset of symptoms. I have avoided getting sick a couple of times from taking that stuff. It rocks! They have "Airborne Jr." for kids too, DD.

Skorned, it's actually sunny as I look out the window of my palatial (ahem) one bedroom apartment in Costa Mesa. There are still some very dark clouds on the horizon so I don't think we're out of the woods yet. It looks like more rain tonight and then we're clear...until Monday. Then more rain.

I know, I'm sorry. As a woman it's hard to empathize. Being sick means business as usual for us. Ya'll make such a big production! I didn't take one day off when I had walking pneumonia in December.

You guys took all of our rain, send some up I-5 why don't ya? It hasn't rained here for...um...damn, let me think...hold on...almost remember...uh...shit...last Wednesday...no, that was sunroof day, until I got to Gresham and it was windy time...damn, don't know when it rained here last.

As for the sprinklers, that's not as bad as what I saw here early December. Driving to work and it's damn cold, but no rain or snow, so not bad, dry road. I come around a corner and a stupid AM/PM was watering the road. Didn't think anything of it until I touched the gas pedal on that patch and about when in a side spin.

And as for being sick, I take Benodryl Cold stuff when I get sick, and lots of vitamin c.
