Looks like I'll finally be getting rid of the old tin-can connection come Wednesday. Gonna go with "extreme: high speed cable (whatever that is). :headbang:

Good luck selling those rusty old cans. John. Maybe you could try Ebay...maybe some spear-chucking aborigine far out in the Australian Outback would still be interested in dial-up.

Congrats on the upgrade! You do know there is no going back after this, don't you? :D

:headbang: Already got that reloaded & working since Friday. Tracked down some extrememly hard to find stuff over the W/E. Start getting your list together - I will be more than happy to help.

Yes I have see you a couple of times but not in the UMOS room :saint:. I've been checking for Carnut to upload him doom. If you put me in your upload permitted list I can send you files next time I see you online ;)

Thanks TSO - You sound like the commercial - I'm never going back. The very persuasive commercial, I might add.

Be a little while before I'm able to fully enjoy it. Seems the cable guy didn't know how to connect both comps so I've got a bit of researching to do so I can take advantage of the speed on this comp too. Suse works NICE on the notebook though. I'm spoiled already & I haven't really done anything yet. :heh:
