I usually never listen to rap but I just got Kanye West-Late Regitration and Outkast-Speakerboxx/The Love Below, and they are some really interesting CD's. Speakerboxx has some kickass bass that I blast in my truck and Kanye West is just really damn interesting. Any of you like any rap.

Busdriver is pretty decent. Haven't heard anything else I like, though.

Oh, and you're probably gonna end up regretting posting this topic. Just trust me on that.

I probably wont, I really dont care, I just happen to like 2 rap albums out of the thousands that are in stores.

I don't really like American rap music, I'd rather listen to German Hip Hop, because it's not that "gangsta" ;) But I'm not that much into Hip Hop, only like some stuff, that's all.
Nevertheless I find Outkast quite amusing and I like the voice of that singer of the Black Eyed Peas.

I happen to like Rakim a lot also, I have Eric B. and Rakim "Paid in Full", and Rakim's "The Master" albums. Which are great and way ahead of the times. And I realize that NaS got a lot of his style through listening to Rakim, he even mentions it on a couple of tracks (U.B.R. Unauthorized Biography of Rakim). But I happen to like NaS style more because it's more up to date, and his poetic themes get my attention also.

Late registration is amazing...huge rap fan here, speakerboxx is alright as well. I thought that Kanye's album lived up to the hype this time. It is so much better thank college drop out and smoother - if that makes any sense.

I'm not going to start a flame war on this forum, but believe it or not their are actually some decent rappers around though the majority is fucking shit (on tv anyway), Nas is one of the good ones though.

Btw anyone heard of Necro?

He used to play in a band that supported like Napalm Death and stuff when he was only 14 (vocals) and now he's doing rap wierdly enough. I havent really heard much but it sounds interesting.
