I got taken for $150 bucks at the hotel bar the night b4! But luckily, no credit cards were taken. Oh well.

Slipknot: kicked butt. It would've behooved me to have not crowd surfed as they were playing a parking lot. Nothing like my 200 lb torso being slung around as the scary guys in masks sing about satan

BLS: Groovy, ok. Thick grooves

SJR: Phil sober as a judge!! I shit you not, and full of great one liners, like "if you are sitting there like a pussy, you are a pussy!" They rocked. They are definitely the better post-Pantera group of them all.

Dimmu: didn't really work in this setting. Plus they attract all of those gothic freaks. Fuck goths.

Slayer: HOLY SHIT. I'm used to Slayer in clubs, to see them have 18,000 people chanting their name and singing along was rad.

PRIEST: STOLE THE SHOW Awesome set list and stage.

Sabbath. Better than last time (2001). Ozzy didn't move much, but he sounded good.

I don't recall Slayers exact list. They opened w/ "Disciple," played "Payback," "War Ensemble," "Dead Skin Mask," "South of Heaven," "Chemical Warfare," "Mandatory SUicide," "Reigning Blood," "Hell Awaits," and some others.

I'm really looking forward to Lacuna and Lamb of God on the second stage. I want to see Hatebreed and Slipknot as well, but not as much. LOG kicked all sorts of ass when they opened for Anthrax. Can't wait to see them now that I have their most recent disc. That, and I have to see the Wall of Death in person.

I'll be @ Blossom for it. My first Ozzfest (and first show in Cleveland not counting the Brownies and Indians). Going mainly to see Slayer but man the setlists sound fucked up. I've seen Priest twice ,once w. rob h and once NOT, and I wanted to leave after an hour. I'm looking foward to having a change of opinion of them after Aug.19. And I want to see Black Sabbath but I've seen Ozzy four times. I'm actually really excited about some of the smaller venue bands. Maybe you can teach a old dog new tricks. My cousin is stoked about HATEBREED and Devildriver. SJR is cool, at least what I've listened to. Still, can't wait to go. Got Metal?

Here's a little tidbit of info for you... I loaned him $80 a LONG time ago, and he bought the Ozzfest ticket to pay me back. And then this happens.
