Ozzfest Columbogus Ohio roll call tom!!

I'll be @ Blossom for it. My first Ozzfest (and first show in Cleveland not counting the Brownies and Indians). Going mainly to see Slayer but man the setlists sound fucked up. I've seen Priest twice ,once w. rob h and once NOT, and I wanted to leave after an hour. I'm looking foward to having a change of opinion of them after Aug.19. And I want to see Black Sabbath but I've seen Ozzy four times. I'm actually really excited about some of the smaller venue bands. Maybe you can teach a old dog new tricks. My cousin is stoked about HATEBREED and Devildriver. SJR is cool, at least what I've listened to. Still, can't wait to go. Got Metal?

Does not sound like a good "friend" thraxdude. I wouldn't be hanging out with him anymore, especially if he owed you money already. Is he on drugs or something?

hmmm,only my closest friends i would trust with getting concert tickets,i usually buy all the tickets,havent been let down yet.

I don't know if I will be hitting Ozzfest this year due a ticket snafu. A buddy of mine at work has a friend who bought our Ozzfest tickets. He is currently in jail for cocaine possession. My buddy talked to the guys brother, who had gone to his house and handed out tickets to a couple other shows but there were no Ozzfest tix. My friend called Ticketmaster claiming that the tickets never arrived. They will reissue them to the mailing address on record, but the original credit card number is required, and possibly a confirmation number. My friend is trying to get that info but since the dude in jail lived 2 hrs away with his deaf mother, in order to talk to her requires a TTY machine. Fortunately, I hadn't paid the guy for the tickets so I am not out anything. We are probably going to head to the show anyway if we can't get those tickets and see if they put any last minute seats on sale or buy some from a scalper. Unless I can win tickets.

The moral of the story, boys and girls: Don't do drugs. Especially if you have my fucking ticket!

Exactly! Hehehe. And the moral of this thread is: buy your own fucking ticket! Never trust ANYONE.
