Hi dudes!

I saw the DVD yesterday evening. Gear: Beamer, 5.1 amp, 2 bottles of wine and a nice woman (my Sister). DAMN call me a wimp, but I cried at "the great gig in the sky" it´s out..I LOVE MUSIC  I waited on a moment like this. It was long ago, as I had similar feelings..really!

The 5.1 Mix is one of the best I ever heared! I always enjoyed listen to the concert in Stereo, but to see this AWESOME SHOW let you doubt it´s really 1995! Even the 3 female background singers are more than worth it to watch this great Concert :)

Hands down for PINK FLOYD :worship: I love you!

So Pink Floyd is emo now? :zombie: Them's fighting words.:heh: Ya, PULSE is kickass.

Pink Floyd is one of my favourite bands and David Gilmour is my all-time favourite guitarist. His solos arent fast, they are sloppy but just a couple of bars of his solos give more than what 1000 shred solos ever could!
Check out Comfortably Numb on this liveshow. I mean, how can you ever top this?

PULSE is perhaps the best livealbum I have ever heard. For many of the songs I actually like the PULSE version better than the album version!

I agree, dude. The solo of "Comfortably Numb" is not from this earth.

Each single tone played by David Gilmour I like more than much complete solos of certain other guitarists :D

yeah Gilmour is pure awesomeness
I love pink Floyd, too bad in '94 I was broke, I didn't have a car to get to the concert 200km away from me!
I think I won't see them anymore :'(
I miss that genius of Wright as well!

I´m sorry to hear this, dude. I also saw them never live..this hurts  Maybe David Gilmore is still possible to see somewhere, sometime!

A fun fact is that the cd version sounds different than the live dvd/vhs.
The cd version was compiled from many shows on the same tour by putting
the best parts together.
Example: Compare the solo on Time on the cd and dvd version.

Hey, this I didn´t know..

It´s questionable, if I ever will listen to the 2.0 mix. The 5.1 function is made for Pink Floyd concerts, indeed!! So much awesome detailes comes out of the rear speakers.

Nevertheless I have ONE single point of critique. The bass frequences of the E-bass could be louder. It sounds a bit cold, when the rythm section plays alone. Maybe a matter of dynamic effectivity?
