Pain Of Salvation LIVE -What an experience

All of you MUST see Pain Of Salvation live.
Saw them last Saturday here, one of the most amazing performances i have seen in my life, and i have seen many.
Daniel Gildenlow is probably the most stunning singer-perfomer in progressive metal , since Buddy Lackey , or maybe Geoff Tate .

And most important of all , really great guys , lots of sense of humor, and "down to earth" musicians.
i considered them just a very good band before, but know i am a fanatic.

Well, I saw Pain of Salvation open for Dream Theater in January 2002.

And I saw Wolverine open for Pain of Salvation in September 2002.

And I just saw Symphony X. What more can a guy ask? (Opeth +++)...

Actually, Danny and the boys have been working on TPE 2 CONCEPTUALLY ever since they recorded TPE 1. However, the musical arrangements haven't yet been formed.

I actually hope the next album is a loose non-conceptual song-based album.

I saw them in Atlanta at PPIII and they put on the best show in my opinion by far, even better than Devy.

I'm not sure, I think the reflective, almost stream of consciousness approach Daniel takes in writing concept albums is a vital element of POS' music, and certainly the root of much of their inspiration...
