Talk about awesome!
This might just be one of Diamonds greatest solos evar.

Overall awesome song, and i though it was pretty cool that the bridge from "This Love" comes from this song(Just like they reused allot of their 80's stuff later on.)! :)

Did anyone notice the infamous This Love speedy riff in the middle?

.. maybe you should read the threads before posting?

yeah the first part was typical power metal pantera, then some riffs came in which you could hear were ahead of their time!

i loved it tbh! i could just about stand power metal, but the first 3 albums were and, still are, very hard to swallow!

I actually dont believe that this song was written during the power metal era though.
It really sounds much more like the transition era, between Terry Glaze and Phil Anselmo.
The main riff has that typical "I Am The Night" sound, and that clean bridge is definitely written with a vocalist like Terry in mind, but then it goes in to the heavier parts which makes me think its the transition between Terry and Phil.
This song really puzzles me when it comes to the time frame, because the music was without doubt written before power metal, probably recorded about the same time(Judging from Phils voice.), its not present on any live recordings or demo tapes.. and Vinnie claims that it was recorded in 89 for CFH which i dont buy for one second.

I'm with you Jay. This would SO fit in somewhere in between "Projects In The Jungle" and "I Am The Night". Except for the guitar sound. It's puzzling.
