“Which one of these did you miss the most while it was missing from streaming platforms?” asks English gothic doom metal band Paradise Lost.
“You may have been missing some of the back catalogue on streaming platforms recently. This is because Paradise Lost have now regained their rights back to masters of In Requiem, Faith Divides Us Death Unites Us, Tragic Idol, and The Plague Within. This means, when you now stream any of these albums, the band will receive a larger portion of proceeds.”
“In celebration, join us this month as we dive into the notable Century Media Records years, between 2006 and 2016.”

The Court of Death
Paradise Lost could possibly release their new studio album this September. The band’s last release Icon 30 – the 30th anniversary re-recording of the band’s fourth studio album Icon – was released in December 2023. Prior to that, they released the Obsidian studio album in May 2020.
Greg Mackintosh talked about the upcoming new release while speaking with PowerOfMetal.cl as part of the promotion for their performance in Chile.
Asked if the band are currently working on new material, Greg reveals, “Yeah, it’s already half-way recorded. Next week I go to Sweden to finish off recording vocals, then we mix it and master it, and then we give it to the label. I think it’s coming out like September time. So yeah, it’s almost finished.”
During the interview, Mackintosh also talks about the band’s creative process, and much more. Watch below:
