Paradise Lost live w/Russell, Marcel Coenen, etc.

This is just a painful reminder of how much I would like SX to release a live dvd: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Id2dzytdn-s"]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Id2dzytdn-s[/ame] - Russell really shines, and though the band isn't entirely as spot on as SX themselves, they still do helluva job (and Marcel Coenen on guitar is always a joy to see!).

Also, feels like I really need some more news on the upcoming record, I am spinning PL to death at home

That was pretty good. I enjoyed it. Camerman was a bit weird but the super zoom ins and late movements, but overall pretty awesome.

Symphony X need to do a live DVD! With a full orchestra or something epic like that!

Yeah, the constant Russell close-ups got a bit annoying. But he sounded great! I love that line he sings as the band first joins in ("does desire still hold true"). His little run on "hold" gets me every time!

I thought the band handled the music very well. It was cool how the guitar players split up the solo.
