Patch Bay: Samson SPatch Plus

I picked up a samson and since Im a noobie to this but was sick of climbing behind my rack to keep pulling/plugging cables.
Can anyone let me know what cables I should be purchasing for the front panel? And what brand cable I should be getting? (links)

Just wondering why you need a patchbay? Do you use lots of outboard gear? I've just always avoided them because i like a minimal signal path. Your going to get a lot of mixed responses on this. The basic answer is usually the best balanced cables you can afford, and fairly short lengths to avoid a mess. something along these lines
