The truth may never come out. While many of us love the dark side of metal, there is unfortunately, always a not so great "dark-side" of the music industry in general. Paul might have got pissed, Slayer inc. might have got pissed at Paul or Slayer inc. might have saw dollar signs. Management might have even "recommended" the change. Who knows. : /

every source there is says that he had to quit drumming due to an injury... hopefully someone will provide some truth someday. i liked dave better, but it just struck me as being weird that he'd be drumming again so soon if he was injured.

I think that's the excuse he used to get out. He didn't have the "sac" to tell the band the truth...

In fact, I find it very telling that not one song from Divine Intervention was played on the God Hates Us All tour.
