Bush actually did meet with the obnoxious shrew. she came away from that meeting with only positive words for our President.
BUT THEN... the leftist nutjobs began whispering in her ear, telling her how she could feed off of the corpse of her son and become a 'star' and she completely forgot her earlier meeting with Bush, as well as her earlier statements about the good character of the man.
Bush was right to ignore her after that. she had her meeting and was satisfied, but let herself be used as a tool of the left, who hoped putting her out there could sway the 2004 election.
it didnt work and she was forgotten.
BOO-HOO.
i have no sympathy for the woman. her son was old enough to choose for himself and he CHOSE to enlist, not just once, but twice. he died honorably, putting himself in harm's way to protect his friends.
she not only dishonors his ultimate sacrifice, but she allowed her hunger for the spotlight to ruin her marriage and neglected her surviving children.
good riddance. that's one ugly chapter of the anti-US/appeasement monkey playbook closed.
