Peavey Triple XXX

What do u think about this amp? Im planning to buy it. Its sounds really great.

Save yourself the trouble and just get a Peavey 5150 (either way, retube it with decent tubes immediately, I'd suggest GT). I played a XXX and it sounded like I was listening to it through a pillow a mound of Jello. The was very muddy and flat, adjust any of the eq or gain knobs seemed to change the sound of the amp very little. I didn't care for it at all. I have a Peavy 5150 II and I love it, however. That's just my suggestion.

i've played through a triple xxx, it's a good amp, but it's eq is way too sensitive, because it's an active eq unlike the passive eq the 5150 has. the amp's distortion, is way too fizzy and thin.
