anyone had this problem? last night for the second time in 4 months a black man was spotted looking into the bedroom window (ground floor obviously) of one of my flatamates. 4 months ago another flatmate of mine came in late and saw a black man looking in the same window and he took off running when she saw him. i live with all women, as it turns out, and they're all very attractive.

the two creepy things are that at 4am (when my flatmate saw him last night) here in london this time if year it's light out. so the man has no cover of darkness and apparently isnt worried or thinking about getting caught, which means he is most likely mental, which means his 'looking' could turn into 'trying'. the second thing, and this is right out of a fucking suspense movie, is that when my flatmate saw the guy looking into the window with his hands cupped around his eyes, he didn't fucking run off. he just stood there and continued to stare at her. how fucked is that?

Id love to catch this guy in the act. id seriously put a fucking knife right in his throat and throw his ass in the fucking canal.

Pretty sure you can just phone the police about something like that... Good luck getting them to actually do anything but it's better than nothing.

Come on, don't you fucksticks have large wooden bats? Go pretend he's a cricket ball or something.

Set a trap.

I do have a thoroughly radical idea -- how about they close the blinds? Don't get me wrong, I also support the notion of calling the police, but really, if he's been looking in the windows at 4AM, you have a lot of info. You might also try hilarious "traps" that will entertain you and coat said peeping tom in fun things.

the curtains in her room cover one set of windows completely but the other set is only partially covered. she fixed that problem today, though. and i called the cops and they're sending someone over within 48 hours to go over 'community safety' or some bullshit like that.

as far as alarms go, i was thinking of the old fashioned tin can and line trap. you know, the one with the string through the cans that 'sounds' the alarm when its triggered (stepped on).

or, i could wait patiently in the bushes all night until he shows up and then give him a back suplex on the pavement and break his bones.

What actually is the law in terms of violence against intruders for the UK? I remember there being some controversy about it a while back.

Bear traps.

Also, fuck the law...if someone is harassing my family/friends at my domicile, I will beat the ever-living shit out of them with a fucking club. I'll go to jail, sure, but it's Europe; I'll play Xbox and have my own room for about a month, but there won't be any more people peeping through the window.
