Those three guys sound pretty similar, right? There is a consistent vibe throughout Danzig, Type O, and Kyuss, right? There is logic behind One Inch Nad loving all three in the gay way, right?

Or am I nuts? :loco:

P.S. Everything I've heard from all three so far is fan-bloody-tastic:

Circus Leaves Town
Welcome to Sky Valley
Danzig III and IV (although 777 was a bit iffy)
The Least Worst of

Must get the first two Danzigs...

Dude my heartrate increased by reading those three names in one sentence, seriously. :tickled: Never thought of that but I guess there is a similar vibe with all three of them. More in the attitude than anything I suppose. As far as overall band goes, I'm not sure I would ever compare the three, except to say they all kick an obscene amount of ass. Well, Type O and Kyuss owe a lot to Sabbath I suppose.

All Kyuss and Unida albums are excellent, except maybe Wretch, but mostly because the recording is terrible.

All Type O Negative is incredible. I can't think of a single bad song or even moment from these dudes. Start with October Rust or Bloody Kisses and see if you become a fanboy, then get the rest.

Danzig I thru 4p are excellent, 5 is for fans only (I love it), 6:66 blows, 777 is good for fans of Samhain, and Circle of Snakes is a pretty solid retread of I thru III.

Burnt Flowers Fallen.....just beautiful
YESSSSSS damn I'm getting the chills just thinking about that song. I could listen to that song all day, and I actually think I did once. Or at least like an hour straight. :dopey:

I wish Type O Negative would cut all of the gay shit and stick with the good shit. For example, if they kept playing shit like "White Slavery" (NAD category: RULES) all the time I would totally buy their albums, but then they have to even it out with gay shit (NAD category: SUCKS) so I won't bother. I liked them somewhat like five years ago.

Tully: He posed nude in Playgirl Magazine once. DO NOT ASK HOW I KNOW THIS

White Slavery is great stuff. I also love their covers likethe Beatles Medley, Paranoid, and Hey Joe and the utterly awesome marvelous kickassery of Summer Breeze

Maybe I'm wrong, but when I heard Peter Steele, I thought he sounded a little like Danzig. I'll check again tonight. But otherwise yeah, there is a certain vibe to all three bands: it's "raunchy" sounding. Does that make sense?

Aye, that does. You could throw someone like White Zombie into the mix too, call it Sex Metal. Whoa. o_O

Type O Negative is my favorite cover band, Summer Breeze is astounding, all the Black Sabbath they've done, and other crap. They also have the best song title in the history of naming things: Unsuccessfully Coping with the Natural Beauty of Infidelity.

Which reminds me, JayK, did you enjoy The Misinterpretation of Silence and its Disastrous Consequences (Wombs and Tombs Mix)? First track on Least Worst Of. :loco:

Yeah, it sounds so much better on 11. :loco:

So Type O are goth right? Are their fans goth as well? What are the chicks like at their shows? Goth chicks can either be complete disasters or kinda sexy. At least, this is what conclusion I came to when I saw Paradise Lost supporting Opeth.

here's my Least Worst. I am not familiar enough with Life is Killing Me to include anything yet

Summer Breeze
Set Me on Fire
We Hate Everyone
Bloody Kisses
Can't Lose You
Love You to Death

I used to have a Type O video. It included some shots of fans, some videos, and some concert footage with Pantera.

Some of the fans are hot, other are just freaks.

The chicks Type O use in their videos are HAWT! Especially the two chicks in My Girlfriend's Girlfriend

They are a goth band that makes fun of goth bands. Never take anything they say seriously, even the serious sounding stuff because chances are it's a big joke. I was in fucking stitches when I saw them live, Peter Steele is probably the best front man that I've witnessed. Big huge vampire looking fucker with a thicker Brooklyn accent than even our local big huge Transylvanian fucker. :loco:

Type O chick fans are generally pretty fucking hot.

You forgot Pyretta Blaze and Glass Walls of Limbo (Dance Mix). :kickass:

From Life is Killing Me I would say IYDKMIGTHTKY (Gimme That), Nettie, and the absolutely AMAZING Drunk in Paris are up there with their best stuff.
