i saw a comercial for Body and Blood on headbangers ball and it got me thinking..how many bands in this guy in and which 1 is the best

Haven't heard Body and Blood, but of Phil's bands that I have heard Down is the best. Both albums are masterpieces.

I love Down, "Nola" is one of the best albums ever created. I also love Superjoint Ritual, I love both SJR albums. They take a while to really get, gotta listen to SJR a ton of times before you realize how brilliant they are. Phil Anselmo is a very good song writer and of course one of the best frontmen of all time. Necrophagia is pretty sweet too if you are into black metal.

Never could get into down, too sorta layed back and bluesy for me.

To me Anselmo´s best work was Necrophagia.
