LOL...I won't kick your ass, he's a cool guy. He has a lot of good songs, yeah it isn't metal, but if the music sounds good to you, then listen to it.

his music is great. Sure it's not artsy but it's nice and he is a damn good singer. I actually like the soft stuff more than the harder stuff. I enjoy 'We Can't Dance' a great deal.

Some of Phil's stuff is fucking awesome.
I can't believe it's still so trendy to call Peter Gabriel era Genesis superior to Collins era. It's like apples and oranges really. Mama and Domino blow away anything Gabriel ever did in Genesis, and Land of Confusion is one of the greatest pop songs of all time (way behind most of Journey's singles though). I do think that Gabriel had a more interesting solo career than that of Phil, however.
