....October 18th, SJR are at the shithole of all shitholes, the AlRosa Villa in Columbus. What a dive, it is where tribute bands come to play for $500 a gig, and it is where over the hill bands come to die slowly and painfully. Sure, eveyr once in a while they pull in Type O Neg, SOD, or Testament, but this place sucks, it has no ambience, shitty cieling tiles that get in the way of everything, dirty carpet, canned beer - it is totally shitty, which is why it is the perfect place to see SJR. I can't wait. The beautiful part is this: I have the day after off of work for Union Mandatory vacation. I love life.
