curious to know what picks marcel and the rest of the users are using...:headbang:

I use the exact same picks, but I use the black version, which have a little bit more grip...
The Tortex picks also have some grip, but different...
Try them both, and see what works for you!

 the thread seems dead...

:OMG: maybe i just have to conclude that dunlop tortex 1mm are the best since

marcel's using it

It's NOT the best, but the best for HIM.
It'll always be a personal choice.
Just go to a local guitar dealer and just grab a couple and check them out, to see what works best for you.
(It normally doesn't take longer than half an hour)

I usually play Jazz III picks, because thanks to the small size they're very accurate and it makes pinched harmonics a lot easier. But I use normal thin/medium plectra for acoustic chord work, because they sparkle more.

SO I already have a couple of opinions with some personal arguments, just try for yourself and see what the goods and bads are in YOUR opinion.

Greets, Sebas.

:headbang: thanks for the great advice.... currently jazz 3 XL does work best for me... somtimes i just wonder why there are those who can shred with those normal size picks... doesn't it contradicts with the principle of economy movement and accuracy?:erk: :erk: :erk:
