pics of girls in lingerie!

rocky horror is kinda like the blueprint for hot topic culture.

Laura, this above sentence is just so wrong.

Rocky Horror show is definitely not for everybody, (as everything in life) but you can't call anything that came out in the 70's and became a cult cultural item (and true it can be argued if it's a *good* cult or not) a "hot topic blue print"
Come on... the kids that shop at Hot Topic have no clue about anything historical about their music... most of them, not all, but most of them are ignorant and pathetic, following a main stream that is written for them by The GAP...
RHPS is not a great movie, but it's fun, it's amusing, and the songs are great.
Above all: it is definitely an experience when watched with the right audience, because the if the audience is great, then that's 40% os the movie right there.

This reminds me of this dumb kid at my school who is a HOT Topic fanatic. One day she came to me and started talking to me about clothes and such, and then I commented that Hot Topic steals all of it's design ideas from big gothic brands that are less known and how everything in this store is a tad "trendy" so she turns to me with this snobbish look and goes: "It's not a trend baby, it's a life style"

..............

Idiots never die, they just rotate.

karen: was she fat? she sounds like it...

i looked at the scantily clad make-up and fishnet-wearing people freaking out at rocky horror and just saw the "bisexual" my chemical romance-loving make-up and fishnet-wearing hot topic kids that run around the mall on friday nights

I don't really like the Rocky Horror Picture Show but I saw it performed in like, '85. The experience was pretty cool since we were allowed to bring in all the props (toast, rice, toilet paper, squirt guns) but I never felt the oull to go back and I certainly couldn't buy the DVD and watch it in the privacy of my home.

Ha! Rocky Horror just doesn't work for me. No sir, I don't like it. So I agree with the above two posts.

me neither is it american only?

Actually, it started in England as the Rocky Horror show, it was a play that later got made into a movie. Richard OBrian wrote the music and play the cahracter Riff Raff. he was awesome in Dark City.

The movie is NOT for everyone, either you get it or you don't. Honestly the film is not that good but the music is and there are some stand out performances. it must be experienced with a crowd in a movie theater NOT at home. You'll just go WHAT THE FUCK?
